Since graduating from John Paul College in 2006, Nick Gonsalves has made a notable impact in the architecture industry. A recipient of the prestigious International Young Architects Award, Nick spent eight years at the leading firm Conrad Gargett, where he was promoted to Associate in recognition of his talent.

He is now a Senior Associate at Neeson Murcutt + Neille, contributing to high-profile, award-winning projects. Among these is Project Discover – Stage 1 at the Australian Museum, Australia’s oldest museum. As a project team member, Nick was involved in the transformation of over 3,000sqm of civic space, blending adaptive reuse with heritage-sensitive design. The project received the Property Council of Australia’s Award for Best Public Building.

Nick’s work reflects a commitment to innovative public architecture that honours history while creating meaningful, accessible spaces for community and cultural engagement.
