After graduating from John Paul College in 1991, David went on to Bond University, where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Since then, David has accomplished many career achievements that have taken him all over the world, including being appointed the co-CEO of the Virgin Group, the CEO of Global Blue, and the Managing Director of Wesfarmers. ​​

Most recently, David has been appointed as Bond University’s ninth chancellor in 2024, becoming the first graduate of Bond University to hold this prestigious position. With extensive international experience across Europe and Asia, David brings a valuable global perspective to his new role. Armed with a wealth of industry insights and a global mindset, David is well-equipped to lead Bond University towards continued success.
