Sarah Graham is a former WNBL athlete and Basketball Australia coach who made a lasting impact on Australian basketball. A standout guard, Sarah played 12 seasons in the WNBL across four clubs, including Logan Thunder and the Sydney Uni Flames, where she served as team captain. She was named the 2009 WNBL Rookie of the Year and represented Australia at the World University Games, winning bronze medals in 2009 and 2011.
After retiring in 2020 with 213 games and almost 2,000 points to her name, Sarah transitioned into athlete development. She now serves as Athlete Wellbeing Manager at Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence, supporting young athletes in their personal and professional growth. Drawing on her lived experience and coaching background, Sarah helps foster high-performance behaviours and safe, supportive environments. Her passion for mentoring and wellbeing continues to shape the next generation of elite basketball talent.
