David Sung Yueng Ki has excelled in football since his student days. He has been recognised as one of the top players in the world following his numerous achievements in his football career. At just 17 years old, David signed his first professional contract with FC Seoul in 2006.
David has gone on to play in the English Premier League for Swansea City and Sunderland and, since 2007, has gained over 90 caps for his national team. Additional achievements include representing South Korea in three World Cups, including advancing to the knockout stages in the 2010 South Africa World Cup, selection in the South Korean team for the 2012 London Olympics and winning the bronze medal, securing victory in the league cup with Swansea in 2013, reaching the finals at the 2015 Asian Cup while representing South Korea, and being selected in the South Korean team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. David re-joined the FC Seoul team in 2024, remaining active in the sport.
