Fiona Sessarago’s journey from a JPC student to Head of Women’s Football at the Gold Coast SUNS has been a remarkable one. While working in the AFL industry, she complemented her work experience with a Master of Sport Management and a Master of Sports Coaching.
As the Head of Women's Football at the Gold Coast SUNS, Fiona played a vital role in establishing the SUNS' AFL Women’s program and creating a clear pathway for female athletes in the sport. Fiona has also dedicated herself to surf lifesaving for over 20 years and was a dedicated crew member of the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter for more than 15 years, highlighting her commitment to community service.
