Madeline McAuliffe is an accomplished netballer who began her journey at JPC, excelling in a range of sports and performing arts co-curricular activities on offer. Representing Australia in the Under 19 and 21 netball teams, she secured her first professional sports contract with Sunshine Coast Lightning at the young age of 21.
Madeline joined as a foundation player in 2017 to play in the inaugural season which famously took out the Premiership in its first and second year (2017 and 2018) in the Suncorp Super Netball league.
Setting her sights high, she was later selected as a member of the Australian Netball Development Team in 2019. At the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball season, Madeline stepped away from professional sports to focus on her legal services career, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in netball.
