JPC recognised as The Educator's 5-Star Innovative Schools 2023

John Paul College has been recognised as one of The Educator's 5-Star Innovative Schools for 2023 - This award recognises stand-out schools that pioneer education for their school communities.

It is with pride that we announce that John Paul College has been recognised as one of The Educator's 5-Star Innovative Schools for 2023. This award recognises stand-out schools that pioneer education for their school communities. This year, we highlighted the innovative achievements of John Paul International College through the Primary and High School Preparation Courses provided to non-English speaking background students. JPIC provides industry-leading services for parents, agents, government partners and students across the College.

Since 2020, COVID-19 has had a profound impact on the College's global community. The College's commitment to being a pioneer in the education sector and for our international community was highlighted through our pathway programs. In Term 1 of 2022, we restarted pathway programs such as ELICOS as an initiative to get these programs back on track before COVID levels.

Since the beginning of 2022, the College has seen numerous students transition from our JPIC school preparation courses into the College, “It has been the combination of several small strategic and operational creative, novel and unique adjustments to our model that have made this a success. Innovation can often make people look for 'big and shiny' triumphs. Whilst the success of the College's international operations can be seen as a triumph, it is the 'everyday micro innovations' in operations that make a profound difference to the bigger picture," says Mr David Ferguson (Director of John Paul International College). Many of these students are also part of our Homestay Program, which demonstrates a commitment to every stage and aspect of the homestay student and provider journey – certainly unique and requiring a great deal of creativity.

We congratulate John Paul College and John Paul International College for their joint commitment to our international communities through this achievement.
