Our Year 11 and 12 students participated in the 'Meet the Mentor' career event held on Thursday 20 July. This event was an exciting opportunity for students to network and gain valuable career advice from industry professionals. We had to privilege to have more than 25 Alumni, community members and parents volunteer their time to mentor students and share their wealth of industry knowledge and experience.

From JPC Alumnus and 2020 Highest ATAR Recipient, Ali Hussain (Class of 2020) to Director of Axiar Pty Ltd, Theo (Frank) Conias (Class of 2002), the Meet the Mentor event was attended by many within our JPC Community and strong Alumni network. JPC Alumnus and Director of Global Partner Solutions, Hayley Buckner (Class of 1993), delivered an inspirational talk about her career, sharing valuable advice with the students.

With over 10 industry groups and 20 professions represented, students were able to select industry groups they were interested in and gain insight into potential occupations. Mentors shared their career journeys and provided invaluable advice and guidance to help students navigate the relevant industries.

Many students today are thankful for the time they had to network and learn more from their mentors. We would like to thank our generous mentors for volunteering to mentor our future industry leaders.
